Background: Former CFO and group executive vice president Corporate Banking Norway with many years’ experience from Shipping, Offshore and Logistics (SOL) in Oslo. Joined DNB in 1999. Previous experience from Hydro Agri International.
 
Education: Master in Management degree from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Nice-Sophia Antipolis.

Group Executive Vice President of DNB Markets since 2019

Background: Has worked in DNB Markets since 2005 in various positions within the Equities division. Headed the equities sales desk in London until 2013, when he became global head of the Equities division and part of the DNB Markets management team.

Education: Master of Science in Business from BI Norwegian School of Economics

Background: Former head of the Shipping, Offshore and Logistics division, SOL. Joined DNB in 1998. Previous experience from Stolt-Nielsen Shipping and Odfjell Group.
 
Education: BA (Hons) degree in business studies from the University of Stirling. Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD Fontainebleau.

Background: Group executive vice president in DNB Markets from 2003 to 2019. Former head and deputy head of DNB Markets, and has held various positions within the FX/Treasury area. Former chief financial officer in DNB Boligkreditt and head of finance in Realkreditt. Joined DNB in 1989. Board chairman in the Norwegian Banks' Guarantee Fund, board vice-chairman in the Norwegian Investor Compensation Scheme, board member in Oslo Børs VPS Holding and Oslo Børs AS etc.
 
Education: Graduate of BI Norwegian Business School.

Group Executive vice president Communications

Background: Former Group executive vice president Media & Marketing, since 2013. Former executive vice president External Communication. Joined DNB in 2009. Prior experience as head of Communications in SAS Norge, communications officer in VISA Norway and TV reporter and presenter in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, NRK.

Education: Journalist degree from Oslo University College. Subsidiary subject in political science and criminology at the University of Oslo.

Executive vice president Payments & Innovation
 
Background: Head of Strategy and Corporate Development since 2016. Former head of division for the counties of Rogaland and Agder. Management experience from DNB’s offices in Tallinn, Estonia. Worked for a period in Singapore, and New York. Joined DNB in 2005. Previous experience as an analyst at Simmons & Company International.
 
Education: MBA from IMD Business School in Switzerland, Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University, College of Liberal Arts, Medford, Massachusetts.

Group executive vice president Personal banking in January 2018.

Background: Previous position was SVP Global Products at Telenor. Has previously worked as COO in Microsoft, and been employed in DNB for eight years, most recently as head of eBusiness. Former owner and strategic advisor in Poio as. Holds a number of board positions.
 
Education: Graduate of BI Norwegian Business School.

Acting group executive vice president Compliance

Background: Former head of DNB CEMEA in London, and head of customer analysis in Northern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Joined DNB in 2007. Previous experience from HSBC and Nordea.
 
Education: Bachelor of Arts from the University of Stockholm.

Executive vice president Compliance since April 2018.

Background: Deputy director general in the Norwegian Ministry of Finance. Has previously worked in Bayerische Landesbank and in the Norwegian Central Securities Depository.
 
Education: Degree in economics from the University of Cologne, Germany. Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics.

Group Executive vice president Technology & Services

Background: Executive Vice President for the Product, Price and Quality division in Personal Banking since the spring of 2018. Former section head and second in command in DNB Legal. Worked as a lawyer at the law firm Brækhus Advokatfirma before that.

Education: A law degree from the University of Oslo.

Background: Head of Private Banking and former head of DNB Luxembourg for ten years. Started his career in DNB in 1987 in what was then called Sparebanken Buskerud and thereafter Sparebanken NOR.

Education: Graduate of BI Norwegian Business School

Background: Executive Vice President of People since January 2019. Former Head of Strategy and Business Development in IT. Joined DNB in 2012. Previous experience from Nordea and Deloitte.
